fCH store was established thanks to Federico Churba’s passion for looking at, exploring and inhabiting the world.
fCH store is a design-hearted space, located in the neighbourhood of Recoleta, where contemporary furniture coexist. These designs are the result of a creative yet critical eye interpreting and reinterpreting the junctions and tensions that surround us. Our products are crafted in skilled workshops where the qualities of the materials are respected in every process, resulting in high standard pieces with precise detailing.
Our products are much more than a series of attributes and materials; each has its own history, narrative and language. They communicate and can be lived via the senses because they are the result of experiences, processes and working methodologies.
fCH store acts like a source of inspiration capable of creating authentic spaces and delivering unique experiences. The store has different types of environments that have been designed using furniture and lighting, all strictly arranged to enhance, organise and transform the surroundings.
To inhabit a space is to do more than just occupy it; it is to make it your own, to have a close and, at the same time, distant relationship with its objects.
Federico Churba was born on the 4th of September in 1976 in Buenos Aires,
Argentina. He graduated as an Industrial Designer from the Universidad of
Buenos Aires in 2001.
He founded Federico Churba Studio in 2008 after being part of several projects
linked to the design world. Since then he concentrated his efforts in developing
objects for interiors and specializing in the design and production of furniture
and lightning.
In June 2012 he opened the doors of fCH store, where Federico Churba Studio
designs all of the displayed products. Federico Churba Studio also designs for
national firms and for international companies from well-known industries such
as the Italian and the Scandinavian among others.
His productions have been part of fairs such as Salone del Mobile,
SaloneSatellite (2010 2011, 2012), Stockholm Furniture Fair, 100% Design London,
Light & Building Frankfurt and Designer’s Days Paris. Some of his awards are
100% Foundation (2003), CMD Contenedores para el Mundo (2006), Design
Report Award Special Mention (2010) during Salone del Mobile and Premio
Konex (2012) Diploma of Merit – Industrial Design.
